Beloved Grandpa - I have too many wonderful memories of you to count. You built my miniature doll house and soap box derby car, you braided my hair, you loaded my car with peanut butter and snacks so I would not go hungry in college, you gave me the low-down on men and dating, you rescued me on your motorcycle from teenage angst and drove me to meet your cool friends-other old dudes in Detroit, you came to visit me in California, flew to my wedding in St. Croix, you answered the phone and picked up the phone, you gave me gardening and cooking tips, you loved me, loved me, loved me. And I love you, love you, you. My gratitude is great. I know this physical existence became to hard for you to stay so I wish you every good in heaven. I'll find you there one day and we'll play bid whist, eat sweet potato pie, and laugh loudly. Your granddaughter, Monica Lee Copeland
