Howard Franklin Derexson, Jr. Born: June 20, 1947 Passed Away: July 28 2018
He served in the US Army as a Private 1st Class in the 1970s and was Honorably Discharged. He served as a Volunteer for the VA Hospital servicing patients in transport and other duties assigned him by the head of the department. He served as a volunteer off and on for approximately 5 years. Howard worked as a Landscaper for over 20 years before his illness forced him into retirement. He was a member of the American Legion Post 32 in Livonia for approximately 5 or more years. In addition he was a member of the Northville Moose Legion 177 for about 2 years and prior he was a member of the South Lyon Moose. He was a member of the International order of the Moose for approximately 10 years. Howard was preceded in death by his Father: Howard F. Derexson, Sr, his Step Father: Fred L Clark, Mother: Helen J. Clark, Brother: Don C. Morris Grand Parents: Walter and Beulah Raub, Uncle: Richard Raub and Aunts: Norma Layton and Inah Adams. He is Survived by: Daughter: Jacquelynn A. Armstrong, son in law: Jamison Armstrong, Grand Son: Ian Joseph Armstrong and Sister: Janice M. Hodges as well as several cousins.
