Nita was born November 6th, 1933 in Birmingham MI, the daughter of Alvin and Fern Stinson (Caspari). She was a graduate of Melvindale High School. Nita raised three children and made a house a home in Utica, Michigan. She worked as an office manager and selflessly extended her employment to help support her children through college. She then pursued her passion of travel by visiting countless cities at home and abroad with her husband of 57 years, George.
She was also a proud season ticket holder of the Detroit Lions and Eastern Michigan Football for over 50 years. She loved the theater and a fine dinner out on the town. She went to hundreds of Broadway shows at her favorite venue, the Fisher Theater in downtown Detroit. An activity she continued to enjoy with her daughter Denise after her husbands passing. She was an avid reader and would routinely finish an entire book within a day or two. In recent years she gleeful shared " I dont have to finish reading a book if I dont like it!" Nita can best be characterized by her indomitable spirit and courageous attitude in being able to deal with lifes adversity and challenges. She was filled with remarkable grace, strength, and perseverance.
