Dorothy, We will miss you and you will always be in our hearts. Thanks so much for giving us all those smiles and wonderful memories through the years. You touched the hearts of many and you were such an elegant lady. May Earl and your family be comforted by the fact that you gave much to others and kept the sun shining for them. May God take care of you always. Love and Prayers, Henry and Barb

So sorry Earl...first met Dorothy in February 2013 at the restaurant Union Street station on Woodward in Detroit in 2013. (greenfield village outing). I was taken aback by the love that you could see immediately of her and Earl, but also by the class of Dorothy, a lady of great character you knew the first time meeting her. In subsequent meetings, she confirmed my original impression and was the most kind and gracious person you would meet. Wish I had met her earlier, but an honor nonetheless. May the good Lord comfort all the people she was close to and give them peace. Grace personified lived within her.!

I am so pleased to have known this lovely lady. And lady is the first word that comes to mind when thinking of her. She always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. She was an example on how to be gracious. I had many conversations with her during her years at the Village and was happy to have given her and her sisters many rides in the Model T when they came as guests. A light has certainly gone out with her passing and she will be dearly missed.

Earl - My condolences to you and your family. I remember meeting your lovely Dorothy at Village events. She was just so warm and kind. I recall the first time I met her and even though we were strangers, we had a long and interesting conversation. She was a sweetheart! May everyone's kind recollections of their time with her comfort you during this difficult period.
