Duffy, Pete, Laura and Jennifer - So sorry to hear about aunt Barbara's passing. My wife Mary notified me yesterday after seeing a Facebook post from Peter. I only have very found memories of Uncle Jerry and Aunt Barbara. I remember when I was a little boy we had a flood in the kitchen. My mom was freaking out! Within a very short time, Uncle Jerry showed up with Duffy and Peter AND a tool box. I remember him laughing at the desperation in our house. I asked him if he could fix it. He said you go play, I got this one. The boys got to play while Uncle Jerry fix the flood. He was awesome! Years later Aunt Barbara did all our honeymoon planning. She had us set up on the beach, in a brand new cottage on St. Thomas. Beautiful welcome basket with wine, cheese, fresh fruit and a card from the Callert's when we arrived. Heck, on the plane ride to St. Thomas the captain of our plane notified everyone on board that we were newlyweds. The stewardess's even brought us champagne and we toasted together. She was awesome and we've been married now 32 years next month. I'll miss your mom and dad but I will never forget their kindness and their willingness to help others. We are blessed to have known them all these years.
