Obituary of Janet Sue Green

JANET SUE GREEN (CZAPSKI/COLE), age 67, passed away May 1st 2019. She was known by her friends as "Jan". She was a 20 year resident of Melvindale, Michigan. Janet was born September 25th 1951 in Detroit, Michigan to parents Louis Czapski and Margaret Navrot. She graduated Chadsey high school in 1969. She took pride in her career with government and FDA for 25 years as a secretary. Her hobbies included attending church, reading the bible/mystery novels, listening to Christian music, cooking, singing, volunteering at Wyandotte hospital, and visiting the Detroit Zoo. Jan loved meeting people, remembering names, and making people laugh with her sense of humor. She loved to talk about her daughter and was a very proud parent. She is survived by one daughter, Amy Cole, and one brother, Donald Czapski. Janet will be interred into St. Hedwig cemetery and a celebration of life gathering will be held on a future date.
