So sad to hear about Bill’s passing. So many fun memories working for CFCC in Detroit with him in the 70’s and 80’s. Bill was one of the best salesmen I ever met and made an even greater manager over the years, as his record now shows. But above all, he was a fun guy! Always positive, always caring, always concerned about others before himself. And his stories! We had so many business road trips, so many lunches out to get the soup of the day, so many silly meetings, but all the time busting out laughing at his wacky tales. Bill was one of the most upbeat, genuine likable personalities I’ve ever met, you would always smile when he came into a room. No matter how bad the situation, he could always put a positive spin on it, and if he couldn’t he could get you to start laughing about it anyway. I miss that more than anything about him; I believe that most people would feel the same. Rest in peace, “Sir William,” you’ve earned your rest. I was honored to be a friend.
