August 15,2019 at 222am I lost my best friend and companion of 49 years my husband Glen. He was the best and most giving person I ever met. He was the greatest father and grandfather. Thank you Glen for sharing your life with me. You will be greatly missed but never forgotten.❤️

I am so sorry to hear the passing of Mr. Adams, my heart breaks for the whole family. He is now with his son, who he loved so much. I have had 14 years of spending time with Mr. Adams and the family and got to say beside his son Glen Mr. Adams was my favorite! You will be missed.

My father also known as Glendon Ray Adams was born in Marietta Georgia he was half Native American Indian the Cherokee tribe out of Oklahoma. I always was so proud of that. My daddy had 4 kids 2 sons from his first marriage and Glen and I from my mom whom he was married to for 48 years. I was the only girl out of the four kids and yes I was daddy’s little girl. My father was a strong wise man who made me so proud to call him my dad. He loved his family so very much. Dad was a truck driver and he use to sneak me out of the house to take me with him on the road. My brother and my cousin Steve who referred to my father as his weekend dad always wanted to go to but I seemed to always win out on that one. My dad was my role model he taught me my work ethic how to be strong how to always put family first.and he was such an easy going man. My brother Glen his youngest son passed 9 years ago and I believe that he is the angel who came and got him Thursday morning at 222am. My brother Brian God bless him held dads right hand and I held his left hand I will never forget when dad took his last breath he looked right at me. For the last year he has been here at our house in hospice care and when he got here they didn’t really think he would be here that long well my dad lived a year and 10 days in hospice care. There is so much I want to say but most of all I feel blessed to have had my dad here with us his last year even though he was bed ridden he was in comfortable care and boy he could talk and I took it all in. Stories from the air force when he was in New Finland how he just missed Elvis Presley my dads idol. I learned things about my dad I never knew he told me stories from his youth ; teenager ;Air Force years and of course we shared our stories of me growing up him driving me and my friends to Grundys; when he was a supervisor he would take Glen and I to work with him and I thought the storage room where they stored all the papers and pens was heaven. Dad also taught me how to ride a bike. One of my fathers biggest passions was coaching my brother Glen in the Madison Heights baseball leagues pee wee to pony to Fed teams my dad also coached older boys and I bet you couldn’t find one young man now adult that didn’t love and respect my dad. He was a good man. I could write on forever about my dad because a man like this only comes around once in a lifetime he was one of a kind loved by many. I love you daddy and I will miss you more than words can say but knowing Glenny is there with you makes me so happy daddy. No more suffering. You were the best Grandpa any one could ask for really you were. Now your in heaven with Glen, Grandpa George, Grandma Irene, Uncle, Auntie your mom dad and sister and all the rest of your family that has passed. Thank you for being there for me this lady year even though we were taking care of you at our house in hospice you filled my home with love and I got to spend some much needed time with you. I love you daddy rest in peace I am daddy’s little girl and you were the wind beneath my wings and worthy of so much more than this obituary. I can’t end without thanking you for all the times you and mom took care of me when my crohns colitis was bad or when Dylan needed Grandpa. I love you daddy❤️
