I loved Tracey. Tracey was a kind, knowledgeable mentor and she was so much fun. I will always cherish the wonderful years that she was my friend.

Although we had not been in contact for years, I thought of Tracy often. She was courageous and kind. She would have been pleased with today's ERA vote in the House. May her memory be for a blessing.

Tracey was a good friend and a big part of my social network. She was generous with her home for events, a reliable attendee at the Secular Summit and other Humanist Forum events, and an intelligent and funny person to be around. As an historian, she was always quick to bring up historical events and how they were relevant to the discussion. She was consistently on the side of decency, empathy, respect, and kindness. The world needs more Tracey Martins and fewer sanctimonious, self-serving fools. I'm sure she regretted, at the end, not being able to vote one last time in 2020, one last blow against all that is wrong with the world. She will live on in the memories of her many friends, especially in mine.
