Obituary of Joanne Cruzen

Joanne Cruzen, age 80, was called to her heavenly home on July 14th, 2021. Joanne was born on November 11, 1940 in Detroit to parents Thomas Jay Davis and Jessie Stephen Bruce Davis. She lived her entire 80 years in Michigan. She did partake in occasional adventures to New Mexico and Texas to visit her beloved children and precious grandchildren.

Joanne enjoyed spending time with her family, numerous friends and fellow church members. She was a faithful member of Grace Immanuel Bible Church for over 50 years. Her family and friends will remember her sweetheart personality and her cute jokes. Joanne loved to make people laugh and laugh! Her favorite hobby was collecting recipes. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Joanne is survived by her children: John Cruzen, Cindy Andrews, Paula Lopez and her husband Trinidad Lopez Jr. Her grandchildren: Beth Ann Lopez, Shelby Lopez, DeArmond Lopez, Jonathan Cruzen, Aaron Cruzen, Lee Andrews, Lanae Andrews and Luke Andrews. Her dear niece Claudia Warren and numerous nieces and nephews. Joanne is preceded in death by her son Jefferey Cruzen, daughter-in-law Grace Cruzen and all of her siblings: Bettie Sullivan, Thomas Jay Davis, Ward Davis and John Bruce Davis.

A memorial service for Joanne will be held on August 7th at 11am at Grace Immanuel Bible Church, 21900 Meadowbrook Rd, Novi, MI 48375.
