Bethany, you will be so missed. Growing up in GC, you were the little sister I never had. I have so many funny memories of you, most of which include Erin and I being brats (hiding from you, locking you out of the house, etc). But I especially remember all of the mistaken song lyrics that you sang as a little kid. I mentioned earlier today that you used to begin the Madonna song La Isla Bonita with, “Last night I drank up some Faygo” Another classic 80’s tune you sang was Two of Hearts by Stacey Q. “Two. Hun. Hearts! Two hearts that were made out of strawww! I need you, I need you!”
I also have fond memories of us as kids going to Bob-Lo Island, the Michigan Renaissance Festival, and the Holidome. You were a part of so many of the best memories I have of childhood. I love that you have two sweet girls, just like your mom. And I admire that you carried on the family legacy and became an RN. I know that it must’ve been very difficult to do that as a parent. I wish I could’ve congratulated you on that in person. It was an amazing accomplishment.
Rest In Peace, Bethany. I will cherish every sweet memory of you, and miss you forever
