I loved Glenn with all my heart!! His love of animals and children always tugged at my heart strings. I wished I would have known he passed when he did not a year and half after the fact. He always took care of me and mine for years. This world will never be the same without him. The Lord truly received an Angel.

Judy and I were so sorry to hear of Glenn’s passing. He was a wonderful guy and great Vet. His love for animals was shown in everything he did. He was always there to help if anyone needed anything. I have lots of fond memories of him. I helped him take the money out of the Easter Eggs. The world is a better place because he was in it. Our condolences and prayers go to all his family.

I was one of the special people who got to be part of Glenn’s family, he was my uncle. On the one hand he would razz you anytime for numerous reasons. He often wondered why I would not wash me feet to remove the pieces of dirt I had on one of them (I had a small mole). One year he and my father took all the money out of the Easter eggs my grandmother asked them to hide and replaced them with rocks. Truly it was one of the best pranks ever. I won’t repeat what he said when I suggested I might attend that school in Ann Arbor, MI.
At the same time he always prioritized family, and there were no lengths he would not go to to help. Whether cutting down trees, helping to move or building a deck, he was there ready to work.
He often lent me his worm infected dogs heart for school, which I loved. Indeed, part of my love for science no doubt stemmed from visiting his clinic. His compassion for animals, as everyone knows, had no limits. He was always there to help, not only in person, but from miles away by text or phone. I don’t know a single one of my cousins who does not keep and love animals (cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs) because of his influence.
I’ll miss my Uncle Glenn, no words can really say how much. I hope his compassion and determination to help will continue to inspire me and those he influenced, and I hope I can learn from his easygoing lightheartedness.

I’m so thankful that Glenn was my uncle. He was funny, kind, intelligent and so good hearted. My kids admired him so much for the care he was able to give to animals and the compassion that he showed to so many. He was a role model to them and I’m grateful for that. We will miss his advise and his jokes Ana sharing quality time in Hawaii. We know the rainbow bridge is full of the pets and animals that he cared for in life and I hope that mine are at the head of the pack. I hope he gives an especially tight hug to Sadie. We will miss him ❤️

To the family of Dr. McClure. Many a times Doc knew that as a True Blue Michigan fan, I was bringing my dog(s) in for an exam. Funny how he always “just happened” to be wearing his fabled MSU tie or his Green and White MSU shirt! The many evenings spent at our favorite sports restaurant (Doc’s Sports Retreat, Livonia) and poor Doc, just watching MSU, and Mrs McClure…going absolutely crazy! Many a joyous evenings with both. May the memories last forever. They always will with us.
