Obituary of Elinore Helen Ryan

Elinore Helen Ryan passed December 10, 2021 at the Age of  85.  Loving wife of John Patrick Ryan Jr. for 67 Years.  Dear mother of  Deborah Ryan, Denese (James) Forbes, John III (Denise).  Beloved grandmother of Heather (Stephen) Harris, Ryan (Jessica) Romak, and Lauren Romak.  Great grandmother of Ella and Evan Harris, Hailey and Connor Romak.  Sister of Alma Willim and Nancy Scott.  Also survived by nieces and nephews.  

She spent most of her life taking care of her family but did work outside the home at various places like Kresge’s, manufacturing shop and Cory Elementary.    As her children got older she worked at the Wayne Bowl and for her girlfriend’s catering company.   Later in her life she spent considerable time with her sister as a care giver to their mom who lived to be 108 years old.   

She always enjoyed spending time with family and friends.   She enjoyed playing euchre and poker, dancing, music, bowling and fishing.  She was on a bowling league for many years with her sister “Skinny” and child hood friends Jean & Kay.  At most parties and wedding’s she and her husband could always be found on the dance floor.

She was fun loving and gracious and a beautiful person both inside and out.
