I was so very sorry to hear the sad and unexpected news of Sharon’s passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to Marty, Tammie, Sharyl, her grandchildren and all of her extended family.
Sharon and I have been friends for over 35 years. We started as co-workers in the Lakeview Public Schools Business Office. A good part of those years she and I shared an office together and managed to combine good work experiences along with many laughs. That relationship turned into a lasting friendship.
I was well aware of Sharon’s artistic talents and through the years was blessed to have been the recipient of many of her beautiful creations. I used to tell her that her greeting cards belonged in picture frames.
We didn’t get to visit often, but always managed to stay in touch, especially these last few years when she had so bravely dealt with so many health issues.
She will be greatly missed and always remembered as a dear and very special friend.
