I am so very sorry to hear of Russ’ passing. I just spoke with him in November. I don’t have social media so I didn’t even know what he was going through. I met Russ in the late 1980s through Kinney Shoes, and I am proud to say we remained friends all these years. He was definitely the most original person I ever met. He was also very kind and caring, through his hard-ass exterior. If you needed anything, you could always count on Russ. If you needed to laugh, you could really count on Russ. I have so many memories of Russ that will last me for the rest of my life. I will remember and miss him forever. I am praying for all of you.
