I met my wife Leann because Rose brought her to a Dream Syndicate show at Joes Star Bar in Ann Arbor. I knew her thru my pal Kevin and we saw many shows back in the late 70’s thru the 80’s. She had a childlike wonder mixed with a dark humor and a vast knowledge of art. Also a breathy baritone voice. I specifically remember her “uh huh” that punctuated most discussions. I wish we had stayed closer.

Rose was a good friend and a kind soul. I first met her way back in junior high school. She had a generous heart and a sharp wit. She also had a great curiosity about the world and was deeply passionate about art, music, food and culture. She and I saw a lot of memorable concerts together. She always maintained a sense of humor and enjoyed a good laugh despite enduring a lot of slings and arrows tossed her way during her lifetime. I regret now that I did not visit her more during the past few years but I always will remember her with great fondness. Farewell, my friend, it was good knowing you.

I've know Rose for almost 50 years, we met in an art class at Schoolcraft College. I will miss her wit and her humor.
I will think of her every time I see a Harry Potter movie. Who now will I get my latest conspiracies theories from.
Goodby dear friend, you've made an impression on more people than you know.
May you be at peace.
May you heart remain open.
May you awaken to the light of your true nature.
May you be healed.
May you be a source of healing for others.
May you dwell in the breath of God.

I spent may Christmas Eves with RoseAnne at my in laws house. She had a great knack for giving unique and interesting gifts. She took the time to find the perfect gift for those she bought a gift for. I enjoyed seeing her every year and enjoyed our conversations. She was a lovely person and will always remember her fondly.

I worked with Rose for many years, she had a personality that many could not understand, but I knew deep down she was a kind hearted person with many talents and stories to share with the world. So sorry I never got to visit her in the nursing home
