Kolleen Hulyk remembering Sonia’s Canadian heritage at the Welcome Center at Glacier National Park, which stretches between Montana and Alberta. She became a Naturalized American Citizen with her 3 young boys at the ceremony. We will miss you so much!

Addendum to Sonia Hulyk's Obituary: The out-of-state brothers travel arrangements have been made and we will be having a 10 a.m. celebration of life service (mass) on Friday, June 17, 2022 at St. Josephat Ukrainian Catholic Church located at 26401 Ryan Road, Warren, MI 48091.Following the service at 12:00 noon is a luncheon commemorating /celebrating our mother at the Ukrainian Cultural Center right across the street from the church. ---The boys

Hi Hulyks! I woke up thinking of your mom. I googled and saw that she died just a week ago. She whispered in my ear I’m sure. Sonia (and Leo) was my mother’s and father’s (Frank and Frances Krcek) best friend. I adored her passionate, bright and caring spirit. For a farm girl she was one hip lady. I could talk to her about anything. Our family all loved her. She really was part of our family. Such an extraordinary woman. Please let me know when you hold the memorial at St Josaphat.
