We’ve lost a really good man, and Eric’s passing has touched me deeply. From our shenanigans in high school, to the Lake Tahoe ski trips, we shared countless memories. When King Cheese, Chilly Willy, and Kurt the (nickname available upon request) decided to go on a Colorado roadski trip, Eric insisted that I learn to ski so that I could join them. He must have thought there was plenty of room in Dave’s little red Pinto! We had a couple training sessions at Alpine Valley. My first chairlift ride seemed a little intimidating, but Eric assured me that the beginner slope was on the back side of the mountain. Yeah, right. Classic Eric! Eric always said that he is the reason I became popular in high school. Cyndi says that Eric made me cool. I’m not sure about that, but I do know that my life is richer for having known him. I will always be thankful for our friendship.
