Obituary of Jacqueline Yvette Renauer
Jacqueline Yvette (Cardran) Renauer passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the Sandyside Senior Living Center on July 28, 2022. She was the beloved wife of Stanley. J. Renauer, with whom she shared thirty-one joyous years together.
Born in Salem, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Edward A. Cardran and Ida Z. (Lemelin) Cardran. She was raised and educated in Salem and a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy, class of 1959. Jackie was employed at the New England Telephone Company for many years and while living in Michigan did a range of secretarial work.
She is survived by her husband, Stanley J. Renauer, two sons Seann D. Sampson and wife Christine from Sunrise, FL and Dwayne E. Sampson and wife Ginny of Palm City, FL, six adult stepchildren, Jean Renauer of Atherton, Australia, Rosanne Renauer of Okemos, MI, Kevin Renauer of Bradenton, FL, Sandy Renauer and husband Tim Tingstad of Plymouth, MI, Jerald Renauer of Redford, MI, Caryn Johnecheck and husband Terry of Highland, MI. She leaves behind her younger sister Elaine M. Moore-Ouellette of Danvers, MA., and beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and grandchildren.
Her boys remember her for being a cool, easy-going mom and the greatest “Hockey Mom,” never missing a single game or event.
She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in White Lake, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Jackie loved to travel with her husband and had visited many places around the world, including Australia and Hawaii. Jackie and Stanley spent their winters in Plant City, FL for over twenty years, enjoying their passion of square dancing and ballroom dancing.
Jackie will be most remembered for her kind heart, her compassion for others, her smile, her laughter, and love of all animals and creatures both big and small. Jackie had a passion for gardening, nature and the outdoors.
ARRANGEMENTS: The funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Parish Church, 9086 Hutchins Rd, White Lake, MI 48386 on Monday August 22, 2022, at 11:00 AM. Visitation at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Contributions in memory of Jacqueline Renauer can be made to the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund (curealz.org) or Sandyside Senior Living, White Lake, MI.
