Obituary of Eileen M. Campbell

Eileen Campbell, 86, of Farmington Hills passed away peacefully on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023 at her home.  Eileen was born on January 25, 1937 to Phyllis and Arthur Garside.  She grew up in Huddersfield England until she was 10 when she made the journey on the Queen Mary to the United States where she settled with her parents in Michigan.  Eileen lived in Novi Michigan the majority of her life and worked at Novi District Schools for 29 years as a beloved school bus driver.  She had the pleasure of seeing many kids get on her bus as kindergarten children and take their last rides as young adults in high school.  Eileen also spent numerous hours at Novi Schools watching the sporting or marching band events her daughters participated in.  She retired in 2004 to enjoy her later years with family and loved spending time with her grandsons.  Eileen had said at Thanksgiving her biggest blessing was her daughters.

Eileen is survived by her three daughters, Linda (Greg) Daniels, Brenda McLaren (William Troesken), Lisa (Jason) Clemens and her two grandsons, Alexander Troesken (17) and Jack Clemens (11) along with her extended family.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Phyllis and Art Garside and her granddaughter Emma Marie McLaren. 

The family would like to thank Angela and her staff at The Medical Team and Mohammed and his staff at American House in Farmington Hills for their kind and gentle care.  A special thanks to Hospice Nurse Jason Ahmed for his compassionate care.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice in her honor.
