My deepest sympathy and unwavering support go out to all of Jon's family. Jon has been a good friend of mine for most of my life and I am a better person because of that friendship. I do not have the words to express the loss I have felt over this past week. I am saddened to know there will never be another hunting trip or poker game with him. I hope you are at peace my friend and I will be thinking of you often. You were always welcome at my campfire!!!

One day he was sitting at my campfire and I came running out of my camper screaming at him. “ Ok I did once but I was young and needed the money so just back off”! The puzzled look I got was priceless! Then he said” I don’t even want to know. We laughed for hours over that one. I’ll be missing you my friend.
