Obituary of David Moy

David Henry Moy

(July 30, 1965-March 8, 2023)

            The name David means “beloved,” and he was. With a ready smile and generous spirit, David Henry Moy embraced Life, Family, and Friends. He cared deeply for the people in his life, and tried to let them know it.

He was a consummate foodie and loved to share meals, both at home and on a variety of restaurant expeditions, where he could passionately explore old and new flavors and textures and try to replicate them. David was an avid gamer and UFC fan, traits he shared with his nephews over many years. He also enjoyed travel, adventure, and riding his bike with the Detroit Slow Roll.

David is survived by his sister, Wendy, nephews, Peter(Susan) and Craig, and grandnephews, Julian, Tristan, and Zachary .                           "He will be much missed by many.

David’s life will be celebrated, along with the life of his dear mother, Roberta (d.2019) at Living Hope Evangelical Church in St Clair Shores, MI on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 1pm.
