Sarah Lees Cameron

Sarah Cameron passed away on July 19, 2023.  Throughout her month-long struggle with cancer, she was surrounded by her precious family.

Sarah was born in Detroit, MI on June 6, 1954, to Patricia and David Cameron and is survived by her loving siblings Tom (Cyndi) Cameron, Beth (Jack) Provencal, Amy (Regan) O’Rourke, Jim (Regie) Cameron and Meg (Alex) Novacek and beloved nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Sarah was a loyal, selfless and understanding friend and sister.  She was a spiritual woman with a strong faith in God.  She had humor and a quick wit her entire life, even during her final ordeal.

She was an independent woman, an adventurous fearless world traveler, a writer of poetry and a determined and driven professional.  She lived in Michigan most of her life working for companies including Modern Engineering, Pak-Rite and Deloitte Consulting utilizing her BA in Communications from Oakland University.

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private Celebration of Life will be held for her family and close friends.  Donations in her honor may be made to Gleaner’s Food Bank and Habitat for Humanity.
