Dale Allan Kaiser

February 2, 1938 - January 10, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dale Kaiser, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, who left this world on January 10, 2024. Born on February 2, 1938, Dale lived a life filled with passion, joy, and an unwavering love for family, music, sports, and fishing.

Dale attended Northern Michigan University on a full-ride scholarship for basketball, and was later inducted into the NMU Sports Hall of Fame, an honor that brought him great pride and joy.  

He spent his young adulthood as a talented drummer for multiple bands and continued to entertain family and friends throughout his entire life.  He passed down his love of music, especially jazz, to his daughters and grandchildren. 

One of Dale’s favorite pastimes was fishing, which he learned as a young boy alongside his brothers Fred and Glen on the shores of Big Lake McKenzie in Spooner, Wisconsin, a popular vacation spot that his parents, Fred and Marguerite, would bring him and his siblings every year.  Fishing was a hobby he joyfully passed on to his daughters and grandchildren who will always remember him if they ever catch “the big one”.

Dale is predeceased by his wife, Gloria, and his daughter, Christine.  He is survived by his sister, Judy, his loving daughters, Michelle (George), Jennifer (John), and Lisa (Mark), who were the lights of his life. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren, Madeline (Jon), Aaron, Gabe, John, and Laura.

A private family memorial will be held for Dale this summer.

May Dale rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the music he loved, the courts he played on, and the serene waters he so often explored. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who had the privilege of sharing in his life.
