Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Tony. We miss him and are feeling his absence. We loved his dry wit which always brought us laughs. We will cherish memories of great times, listening to our favorite folk/country music. He will be forever remembered for his calm easy spirit and his willingness to always lend a hand, without being asked. Tony you left us too soon. Love to the family and friends during this time of sadness.

I am so incredibly saddened to hear about Tony's passing. It was always a highlight of my day when he would come into the library. We'd greet each other and shake hands "Hello, my friend", talk about life, and always had at least a couple laughs. He'd like to say "You are a gentleman and a scholar" to me sometimes and I will absolutely miss him and the conversations we had. RIP Tony.
Your friend,
Erik from Herrick District Library

Eric, Thank you for your condolences. Yes, Tony always sought you out when he was in the library. You were his life line to research and being able to obtain any book he request. Those short interaction between the two of you, laughing or discussing the world was always a pleasure to Tony.
