Obituary of Chantelle Latrice Wilkerson

Chantelle Latrice Wilkerson, 35, passed away on May 4, 2024 in Detroit, MI. Born on March 11, 1989 to Tracey Turner (Eldridge) and James Marcel Stinson in Detroit.

She attended Kettering High School (Det, MI). She worked in the food industry, from being a waitress to managing in fast food.

She is survived by her mother and step father,  Tracey and Eldridge Turner. Brothers and sisters,  Martez Wilkerson (Jasmine), Chanel Wilkerson, Johnny Dujuan Wilkerson (Erin), and Ciera Turner. Her grandmother, Jeanie Wilkerson, her uncle,  Johnny Will Wilkerson Jr and nieces and nephews, Lauren, Caydien, Leilani, Johnny D. Jr, and Caysien. She has preceded in death her father James M. Stinson her grandfather Johnny Will Wilkerson Sr, and her great grandmother Ruby Word.

Chantelle was always up for a good time. She loved dancing and singing. She always knew how to make you laugh. She was a hard worker. She was a strong woman, what ever obstacles were thrown at her, she found a way to overcome them. And most of all, she loved her daughter. She was upbeat and energetic, loved spending time with her loved ones and she will truly be missed.
