Grandma, I love you so much and will miss you terribly. I thank you for everything you have done for me and my family. Some of who I am today, is because of you. You were always my favorite, and it was such a joy to be so close to you. I have many fond memories that I will cherish forever. You will forever be in our hearts and our thoughts.

I only had the opportunity to meet Rose Mary on a couple of occasions. When I did she had the pleasure of bringing candy to the shoppe for halloween only to greet me wearing a giant bee costume! It made her laugh...On the other hand I had the pleasure of hearing stories about her and her great character and sense of humor...I'm glad I had the chance to be a small part of her life, if only for a short time. She's in my thoughts and prayers.

Grandma, You will be missed by all....I know that none of us would be who we are today if it wasn't for you and your zest for everything. I will miss talking to you while I walked to work. I hope you leave some fish in heaven for the rest of us later.... We love you so and miss you everyday.

Rose Mary was a fiesty and fun Mother-in-Law (sneered when I called her Ma). Taught us to play hoof and mouth (oops, guess its hand and foot)cards, didn't care if she won or lost, but that's 'cause she won most of the time. Miss you...

Mother, I will miss your sense of humor along with your come-backs, your attitude towards life with much gusto. The way you reconcile with your passing from this plain to the next is an instrument of courage for me...as well as for others. I will cherish the memories of our attending the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.

Rose Mary was the spunkiest woman I ever met. She always had a smile on her face and the best sense of humor. Even this past year when she was sick she always greeted me with a big smile and had some humorous comment to make. She was a inspiration to us all with her wonderful attitude toward life. My thoughts and prayers go out to Darlene who took some good care of her and also to the rest of the family. We will all miss her tremendously forever.

All of us who knew Rose Mary will miss that twinkle in her eye and impish grin that openly and proudly declared who she was and how fully she lived her life. We were lucky to know her and be able to share parts of her life. Rose Mary was very fortunate herself to have such a devoted and dedicated daughter in Darlene, who took her in and provided extraordinary care for her during her illness. We will all miss Rose Mary!

Dear Darlene, I mostly knew your mom thru you, although I did meet her a couple of times--what a dynamite lady! I hope I keep my spunk and zest for life like she did. I delighted in knowing her thru you and all the stories, with her feistiness and determined will. I'm glad she had you for her daughter, someone who could really appreciate her. Heather

Dear Darlene, Your mom's heart touched many lives. My own mother (Sarah Wood) considered her a close friend. Myself, I will always have the memories from the summers long ago when I was a child and was able to work for your mom and help her with her gardening & farming. She was truly a special person to our family. I am sorry for your loss. In deepest sympathy,
