Obituary of Nancy J. Shaffer

Nancy Jane (Snook) Shaffer Age 86, May 26, 2017. Loving mother of Terri Jill, Melinda Lee (Jay) Kirkman, and Todd Jeffrey (Eve). Beloved grandmother of Connor, Lachlan, Sarah, Matthew and Michael, and great-grandmother of Makiyah and Maddox. Dear sister of Jim Snook and aunt of David, Greg & Brian. A graduate of Grandview High School and The Ohio State University, Nancy was a long-time resident of Birmingham and later of Novi, MI. She worked as a legal secretary, was an avid collector, and was actively involved in the Michigan Quilters Guild, NALS of Michigan, Girl Scouts of Southeast Michigan, and the Oakland County alumni chapter of Alpha Xi Delta. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Meanwhile, the family requests that memorials be directed to Henry Ford Hospital or the American Diabetes Association.
