Caroline DiSanto

Obituary of Caroline Lucille DiSanto

Caroline was a beautiful and devoted wife, mother and daughter. She resided for several years in Portage, Michigan, as a stay at home mom. She later returned to Ypsilanti to be at the side of her ailing father, where she remained to live closer to her mother. A woman with a kind and loving heart, she longed to be closer to her family and was finally readying to make that move when she departed to be with the Lord. Caroline had many hobbies and interests: she was fascinated with other cultures and their languages, music, films and traditions, and often watched their news channels; she enjoyed collecting angels and other spiritual motifs; she enjoyed finding off the grid diners and would travel to them; and she had a love for movies, mostly independent films. Once she found a movie that she loved, she could watch it over and over again. Caroline loved to give and she did so lavishly. She was deeply affected when she saw people and animals in need and instilled in her to children to give with an open hand and open heart. Services will be kept private. Caroline was never much of the flower type, in lieu of sending flowers to family, please extend a hand with a heart of gratitude in her honor. Age 70. Loving wife of Tony. Dear mother of Anthony Darrin-DiSanto and Andrea Nicole (Nathan) DiSanto-Stewart. Grandmother of Mary East, Mason, Anthony and Brayden. Great grandmother of Ava, Ameera, Aria, Anthony, Embry and Benny. Beloved daughter of the late J.P. and Francis Tedford. Sister of Betty "Gail" Wienert. Services private
