We were so saddened to hear about Uncle Bob's passing. He was such a positive and caring role model for me in my younger years with his warmth, sense of humor, and generosity. In these ways and many more, he helped me to succeed in my life to this day. He will surely be missed by each and every life he touched. Our Deepest Sympathy,Karen and Ed Rose

Kenny and I were just reminiscing about the neighborhood....put a baseball glove on your handlebars and ride to the ballpark...we always had enough guys to play pick your field and pitcher's out. Mr. Quigley coached little league and so did my Dad. We use to have a parade down Ann Arbor Trail with team banners and uniforms to start the season...proof that we were important and they were simpler times to live in. Mr. Quigley was the originator of Rob and Ken's humor and mannerisms. All three of them acted, talked, joked, and looked the same. He will be missed but he lives on thru his sons. Gary Freeman

As the Branch Manager for Century Rain Aid in Southfield years ago having Bob come in each and every morning was a moment we looked forward to. He had a nickname for everyone and each morning he would find a different person to pick on and it was hilarious. All in good fun and everyone loved it. A great memory was one morning he came in and when he left it was like the Tasmanian Devil has just been there. An employee who has just started that day asked what in the heck was that all about!. I just smiled and said that was Bob Quigley having fun and starting our day like he does every day. Great man and may he RIP. God Bless Bob. Richard & Chris Commyn.

The Quigleys lived around the corner from our family in Dearborn Heights. Ken and I were big pals from 1st grade through high school and we played just about every sport under the sun. Mr. Quigley was the best...he was hilarious and would tease all of the kids in the neighborhood mercilessly, but always in a fun, kind way - we knew he loved us. He was our first Little League baseball coach - of course he led us to the championship - the Navajos! He would drive us to basketball games, hockey practice (which always seemed to be at 6am on Saturdays in some little out-of-the-way town in Canada - we'd be crossing the Ambassador bridge as the sun was rising). Later in high school, Mr. and Mrs. Quigley and my folks would sit in the stands, rain or shine, and cheer for us during our high school football games (we didn't have as much success on the football field as the Navajos had in baseball). Mr. Quigley was the type of guy who could light up a room full of people just by walking through the door. What a wonderful man. May his memory be eternal.
