Dear Sheri I Just learned of your fathers and mothers passing. It has also been many years since we have been in touch. I remember visiting your parents when you were at Michigan State and the fond memories of their sense of humor and also advice like my parents would have given me. They were amazing and I was crying when I found out. Hope to get in touch with you soon. Love Linda Enos -Schramm

Dear Sandi, Debbie and Sheri, I just learned of your father's (my uncle's) passing. It has been many years since we have been in touch but I remember fondly your father and his sense of fun. I particularly remember our summer together many years ago on Cape Cod. My thoughts are with you all.

Dear Sandi - I am so sorry to hear that you have lost your father. He sounds like a very interesting man with all of his patents, serving in World War 2 and loving animals too. How lucky to have had him so long. Many your memories of him warm you and give you peace. Sincerely, Anne Honhart

Oh Sandi, How sad I am for you, but knowing that your beloved dad is on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge with all those beautiful animals makes this transition a bit easier. I wish I had known him. I read that he was a wonderful man and animal person.

I am sorry to read of your father's passing. The WW2 generation is leaving us very quickly now. Your father was less than one year older than my father.

Friendly Mr. Giardini could be seen at many functions dealing with animal welfare, frequently helping with the preparation and the serving of vegetarian meals. He shared his concern for our fellow creatures with his daughter Sandi, and I fondly remember the home-cooked Italian meals he brought to these events.. I am sure he was greeted most warmly by four-footed pals at Rainbow Bridge!

I love you with all my heart, Dad, and always will. Every school project you helped me build into the wee hours of the night without complaint, every skilled repair of my cars and home you generously completed, and every culinary creation you invented and shared with me were testaments of your love and tender affection. You taught all of your children to champion the underdog in life, a creed of compassion that inspired our support for social justice and civil rights, and our love and protection of animals and the environment. My aching heart is warmed by wonderful memories of your Fred Flintstone laugh, your offbeat sense of humor (especially your appreciation of Monty Python), your iconic sayings, and your softhearted rescues of stray dogs and cats. I am forever grateful and proud that YOU were my dear ol' dad. Your Loving Baby Daughter, Sheri Giardini
