Chuck and I went way back to Franklin High School. We were close pals all through high school. After we graduated Chuck became close with my family as well and would come over quite a bit. I moved to Hollywood in 1976 and stayed in touch with Chuck for a few years following. He would often go to visit my Mom and I thought that was very sweet of him to do that. Although Chuck and I drifted apart over the years, I did think of him often. We got to know each other in our young adulthood and I got to know his kind heart and wonderful spirit. RIP ole pal. In loving memory. Kev

I met Chuckie way back in 1964 when I was the recreation director at Wilson School in Livonia. There was a huge gap in our relationship -- but I'm so very thankful that he came back into my life the last two years, as he and Colleen faithfully attended the church I pastor - Connection Church in Canton, MI. I can honestly say that I've never met anyone who wanted to come to church more than Chuck (which he did) or wanted to be baptized more than Chuck (which he was). His life dramatically changed, spiritually, the last two years. I miss him tremendously -- but I am truly honored to be able to officiate his memorial service. He's One of a kind!

I have known Chuck for over 42 years as I am married to his cousin. I have watched him grow and love him dearly. I am so grateful that Chuck became such a big part of my life over the last two years. To be so blessed watching him getting closer with God and watching all the good things he was able to accomplish is something I will never forget. My prayers are with you Colleen, Stephanie, Erin, Kelly, and of course Braxton. God Bless, Sue

Sorry to hear about Chuck.Back when we went to Wilson and Emerson he was like a brother to me and was at our house quite a bit, him and some of his friends even had a band in our basement for awhile, but all I ever heard them play was GLORIA. So I don't think the band went to far. I remember a time we got into a fight and I tore a ligament, he came down almost every day and helped my mom take care of me and also helped with the house work. He was a great adopted brother any one could have. I am so glad to hear he was saved. God will surely take good care of him. I do have some photos from way back when. So I do still have some good memories of him. I am sorry I never got to meet his family. And to his family I am sorry for your loss. God be with you's. Gilda Mione Draper
