Thank you to everyone who posted on Dad's page. We cherish every memory that is shared and are awed at the profound and positive influence he had on so many people. A virtual Celebration of Life was held on January 10, 2021. If you would like to view a recording of the service please visit GatheringUs.com, and type in Robert Cooper in the memorial search. Thank you everyone. He will always be missed.

Very sorry to hear of Bob's passing. Linda and Bob were great friends of ours in the American Wine Society. I remember going to their house for tastings and they came to ours many times for our annual lobster cookout. My wife Betty Lou has been gone for 10 years now, but she would share my sympathy.

Thank you Ed! Just discovered we could respond! Really appreciate the thoughts and memories about Dad and thank you for passing the word. We still miss him very much! I know that he and Mom always enjoyed the AWS - we had lots of memories dividing up all the wine glasses from all the AWS meetings all over the country! Thank you for bringing a smile to our faces! I am so very sorry to hear of Dr. Cooper’s passing. He was a sweet man and a good friend of my Dad, Stu Middleton. They were in medical school together. The last time I saw your Dad was at my Dad’s memorial service almost ten years ago. He was so kind. He told my sister that she had my Mom’s smile. ( Mom had passed away nine months before and we were still very much in shock). My sister cherishes that thought and I do too. Sending my love and prayers for your loss.

Dear cousins, I'm not so good at this stuff on the phone, so I apologize for my lack of grace. My intentions are sincere though - and my condolences too. All of the Dexters join me in wishing you all peace and comfort through the coming days. Your Dad was a wonderful person who I felt privileged to have met. Having him join in our family reunion in 2014 was such a delight, and it made MY dad so happy to reunite with him. We will miss him and think of him often, and I do hope that one of these days we will have a real reunion of the Swan clans. 3 Sending my love, prayers and sympathy,

My kids are 30 and 34 now... We used to go to Dr. Laux and Dr. Cooper's practice. I remember Dr. Cooper as a kind, gentle man.. He remarked that I should have 8 kids! I found that amazing because I wasn't the most confident of mothers... But his positive remark always stuck with me...
