Dear Riordan family; our parents were great friends, (Hank and Kate Johnson) and although my parents have been gone now for several years; seeing your Mom's obit brought back many memories. My Mom used to say your Mom was the beautiful and classy women that was as beautiful inside as out. I have been overseas for many years so it was with some sadness that I saw that Jack was also gone. He was such great support for my Mom when they both became so ill. Your Dad was the epitome of what a loyal friend should be and they meant more to my parents (and us girls) than you will ever know. I am smiling just to think that the four of them are probably hitting some early bird special for dinner and having a great time charming their way into the best seat of the house up in heaven. They were just wonderful people-our best to you and your family.
