Obituary of James Ralph Whitmore

James R. Whitmore age 87 passed away February 21st 2017 at the Church or Christ Assisted Living Center, Clinton Township. Predeceased by father George H. Whitmore, mother Celina Whitmore (Balduck) and the mother of his children Arline L. Whitmore. Survived by his dear brother George R. Whitmore, son Gary J. Whitmore (Rosalyn) and daughters Susan J. Stewart and Judi G Wade. Grandchildren Christel A. Socia (Doug), Casie S. Stephens, Candace L. Whitmore (fiance Brandon) Troy L. Stewart and Tracy L. Tullis (Bryan) and six great grandchildren. James retired from General Motors Dec. 1st 1984 after a 25 year career as a tool and die maker. Jim enjoyed retirement at the Casinos, gambling with ex-wives and lady friends. A 32nd degree Mason F.A.& M Mt.Clemens Lodge #6 for nearly sixty years, additionally a life member Amvets Post 29, and Mt.Clemens L.O.O.M. 1278. In leiu of flowers family asks that contributions be made to the "Shriners Children Hospitals." A celebration of life will be held at a later date, friends can join family for a luncheon at that time.
