Obituary of Edward Essian

Essian, Edward, age 83, of Clinton Twp., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 5, 2008. Ed is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Dorothy; daughters, Janice (Bob) Thomas, Denise (Mike) Back, and Marilyn; and sons Mike (Cyndi) Essian and Mark (Janet) Essian. He is also survived by 1 brother, 2 sisters, 17 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his beloved granddaughter, Kellie, 1 brother and 3 sisters. Ed retired after 33 years with the Detroit Fire Department, Ladder 19, as Captain. He was a decorated U.S. Navy Veteran serving in WW II and the Korean War. A private memorial service will take place at a later date.
