I'm sorry to hear about Marks passing. Apparently someone forgot to mention his son Mark Anthony Perkey. He just called me and was very upset about his dad. R.I.P Mark.

Mark Anthony Blanton Jr, 58, died peacefully in his sleep on October 4th, 2014 at his home in St. Claire Shores with his partner and significant other Kathleen Mattson at his side after suffering for several years with advanced pulmonary lung disease.  He grew up in Garden City , Michigan where he attended Garden City High School, and after graduation, embarked on a 30 year career with General Motors  and retired as a senior Tool and Die specialist in 2004.  He was an avid outdoor sportsman all of his life until side-lined with his illness and especially enjoyed football and baseball throughout the year.  He was a very kind and thoughtful person who loved animals and devoted much of his spare time as an advocate of the Humane Society and several related organizations. He is survived by 2 sisters, several nieces and nephews, and his partner and significant other of many years, Kathleen Mattson.  His mother and father preceded him in death.  Per his final wishes, there will be no funeral services and the body is to be cremated. You will be missed love your sister's ♡Carole & Marlene♡
