Mom, It has been a year since you passed on and not a day goes by that I do not think of you. You were missed at Rick's law school graduation and Katie is almost done studying in France. You would be so proud of them. We miss you alot. All our love, Tim

For my dear friend Betty, from your Hairdreser! I called you today to see how you were feeling, and when the # was disconnected, I knew where you had gone...although I prayed that maybe a nearby nursing home was an option... But I know you would have hated that! I will always treasure our many hours together, your many stories of family and travel, books and play's and your special wit and honesty! I am so Blessed to have served you for so long, you were so good to me. I especially treasure our last conversation about GOD and HEAVEN and how I assured you I'd see ya there someday with NO oxigen tank! I will try to attend the memorial service, I would like to put faces with the names of so many I know secret's about! GOD has finally promoted you to GLORY my friend, I do hope you are LOVING THE TRIP !!! Save me a seat and remember to tell my mom I LOVE her when you meet! LOVE CHRIS...man i hope that last haircut was a good one!

To hear of your lost has sadden us. Our prayers and love are with you. God created humans with a yearning to live forever. The Bible says that he put a sense of eternity in their hearts. Ecclesiastes 311. Our first parents, Adam & Eve, were created perfect, with no defect in mind or body. (Deuteronomy 324) Imagine-no chronic aches and pain, no morbid fear or anxieties! Why, then do we die Hope this thought and scriptures bring Comfort to your heart, as they have mine during this time of sadness.

Betty (mom) was a womderful mother in law. She was always there for me with encouraging words and support in anyway possible. I will miss our chats about books that we had read. Mom was the kind of person you loved to be around which is one reason why she had so many dear friends. I believe she raised two great kids Tim (whom I am blessed to be married to) and Bonnie. What a wonderful role model she was for her grandkids Rick and Katie. She loved her family unconditionally and we loved her right back. She enjoyed spending time with Rick and Katie and I am sure that they will always treasure that time spent with their mutmah (grandma). You are truly missed - I love you mom. Forever your daughter in law - Cindy

I will always treasure the time I spent with my Maut Mah. She was always encouraging me to read and introducing me to interesting new ideas. I'm glad I had her there to show me documentaries about ancient societies on the History Channel, and I will always remember going with her to the OPC library on the days she volunteered to help her shelve books. She encouraged me to follow my dreams and explore my passions. I will always miss her laugh and the way she brightened up any room she entered. I am lucky to have had such a wonderful Maut Mah.
