Obituary of Robert J. Sanford

Sanford, Robert J. Age 63, passed away after a short illness surrounded by his family on July 21, 2008. Beloved husband of Laura. Loving father of Jennifer and Susan Sanford. Proud grandfather (Bucca) of Natalie Sophia and Chadwick Sanford. Devoted brother of Gary Sanford and Kathyleen Zeller. Treasured son-in-law of Walter and Theodosia Therssen. Robert was an enthusiastic Austin Catholic Prep School Friar and University of Michigan Wolverine. He will be missed by all of his friends and family. Robert was a consistent 100 percent club member at both I.B.M. and Control Data Corporations. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 54045 Schoenherr (North of 24 Mile), Shelby Twp., Thursday at 11:00 am, luncheon to follow at the church facility. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions can be made to the construction of the new "Austin Catholic Academy", in memory of Robert J Sanford.
