I had the pleasure of working with Jim at Budco. He was a wonderful man and always gave me great advice about Accounting and what path I should take. He was quick with a smile and always had a joke to share. He was very kind to me and I will always think fondly of him. My thoughts are with you all.

I enjoyed very special times with Jim and Donna at the cottage next door, in Ontario. Its been a pleasure in my life, knowing Jim Castonguay as the knowledgable man that I have known him to be. He will sorely be missed in my heart, and the hearts of those who knew him.

I remember the day I hired Jim as my accountant and bean counter on the Security Bank & Trust account downriver. We were instant friends and Jim was my most trusted adviser from then on. I am so glad I kept in touch with him over the years and really glad that Jim and Donna joined me and about twenty other friends a few years ago to go on a Grand Canyon River rafting trip. Jim enjoyed this trip very much and it was a highlight for me to have Jim join us. I last spoke with him around Thanksgiving 2010 when he told me about his many recent health scares. As usual he joked about them and was looking forward to his upcoming golfing trip to Florida. I will miss those phone calls with Jim and I will miss him very much. He was a very special person.

TO Jims family - I am shooked by this sad news of my good friends passing. I was lucky to see Jim several times here in Florida in January and Febuary and had many long conversations talking it over as we always did for thirty years plus. The conversation always ended with religion, death and dying. I know that he was looking foward to a afterlife and was a beliver. we will all miss him very much.

Janet, Mary Therese, Paul, and Jimmy Wow, I can't believe how fast all this happened. I'm so sorry for the loss of Uncle Jim. Our familys grew up together and had hundreds of great, fun times. Many, many memories will always be in my heart. I think pretty much Jim has always been my dad's best friend, even with all their ups and downs, it was all part of their 50+ year relationship. Their many, many golf trips, sleepovers (haha), and your dad's great beef roast!! My thoughts and prayers are with you. See you on 416. Love, Colleen

Janet, Mary, Jimmy, and Paul We were very sorry to hear about your dad. He was a great guy who always had a warm hello when he saw you. I was at a golf course today and thought about him as he was a great golfer. I always thought of Uncle Jim as a guy who enjoyed life. My mother and dad were really glad they got a chance to see and speak to your dad last weekend. We will see you guys on 416 to celebrate your dad's life. John, Lynda, Collin and Ian Simpson
