This is a terrible shock to me, my heartfelt sympathy to Deb's family. My friendship with Deb goes way back to our softball days at Claude Allison and nights at the bars for a few beers. Even as the years passed and our lives got busy, we still managed to stay in touch and meet up with each other. Deb's Christmas card was always the first to reach my mailbox. She was always the friend I could count on and talk to and I will truly miss her. May God keep her in His care, and may she rest in peace. Goodbye my friend.

We became friends with Debi at Frankie’s Resort in Houghton Lake many years ago while on vacation. We had lots of fun and laughter together and planned our vacations to be the same week for many years to follow. Some of our best memories of Debi are tubing on the Lake, playing Balderdash, telling stories (we called them lies) around the campfire, and coming up with a new Drink of the Week (every year it was something different). We have kept in touch with Debi through letters and Christmas cards. Debi will be greatly missed. Andrea and Zachary are in our thoughts and prayers.

Debi was always upbeat in spirit no matter when I spoke to her. Debi was always interested in how you were feeling, never wanting you to focus on her medical problems. Don and I visited Debi Thanksgiving weekend at Botsford Hospital, as usual she was optimistic about life and looking forward to the holiday season.Debi wanted to know all about our 25th wedding anniversary party that she could not attend back in October. The mere mention of Andrea and Zach brought a smile to her face. She talked about what a wonderful time everyone had at Andrea& Matt's wedding. Debi was happy that Zach liked his new school. I called Debi on New Year's Eve and we joked about her upcoming 50th birthday. God Speed and Happy St. Patrick's Day my friend. Ms. Moe

I didn't know Debi, but I know her daughter Andee. If Andee's strength, courage and love for people is any indication of her Mother...she must have been an amazing woman. She raised a fantastic girl. My heart goes out to you and your family. You are in my thoughts.
