I just also found this today and I am heartbroken to learn of CathyCasha passing! I’m so sorry I lost touch with her. I also met her while working at Chevys and we became fast friends. She had such a huge heart and at one point I left SF because of difficult times and when I wanted to return to the city Casha opened her home to me for a month letting me sleep on her couch while I got a job and back on my feet. She was a true friend and I miss her dearly. I’m glad to see Margie Moran posted here too, we all hung out together and I will always have such fond memories of that time in SF. RIP my friend

I just found this today, 6220. I am in shock and deeply saddened to find that Cathy has died. I had searched for her many times & never found her...until I found her obituary. Cathy or sometimes called Casha, and I worked together at Bobby McGee's in Newport Beach, CA. We became good friends. I can always remember her with her big white Kuvasz, they were both beautiful. So many nice comments & all true. Cathy did light up the room with her smile, her sweet personality, she was an amazing human being. I'm so sad we lost touch. Every guy that saw her wanted to date her, she was such a beauty. I now see that her parents have died too and not long after she did. Must have been so hard to lose their beautiful girl. I see here she had sisters. She never spoke much about her family when I knew her, but we were young. If anyone wants to contact me I'll also leave my cell phone 650-353-1640. I live just an hour south of San Francisco. I can't believe that Cathy only lived an hour from me. We met when I lived in Huntington Beach, CA, so strange we would end up in the same place & not know it. I would love to talk to anyone that knew Cathy, just to reminisce, what a loss. God Bless you Cathy & her family.

Dear Lewandowski family, May Gods love and comfort find you in your time of need. I was shocked in hearing of Cathy's passing. It's been many years since we talked but she is one of the people who sticks out in my mind fondly from my childhood friendships.I felt a kinship since we were both from CA.and loved horses. You are in my prayers. Fondly, Cindy

I too, went to high school with Cathy in Michigan, at Groves HS, in Birmingham.I was trying to find Cathy on classmates.com and learned of her passing. She was the most beautiful girl in school and everyone loved her. I also shared her love of horses. She is in heaven now, and I know how sad you feel because I just lost my mother to breast cancer 6 months ago. She is with my mother and the Heavenly Father and is an angel now. We all will be reunited in Heaven and no one will suffer or have pain. I will pray that your family can help each other lessen the grief, andI know you never met me, but she was a wonderful friend. God bless you all.

Dearest Lewandowski Family, I am so sad and shocked to hear Casha has passed. It has been a long time since we saw each other. But I have such wonderful memories of our friendship and the time we were roommates in SF. It was a very special time as we tried to figure out our futures. We met while working at Chevy's. We spent those years constantly together and having fun in everything we did. Casha was a beautiful free spirit and I loved to hear her dreams. She loved her animals, Ukiah and Martha were so special and loving. I still remember our trip to Cancun together, she was such a fish in the ocean. Hi Nancy and Linda-I don't know if you remember me from your visits...but I only have the best of memories. Casha always had a good heart for everyone. I am sorry we lost touch, I know she will be missed. Love, Margie (Moran-Schneider)

Casha lived life just as see saw it, did what she loved, and loved what she did. Everyone who knew her saw her as independent, a free spirit, and beautiful woman inside and out. I know she was always an especially cool aunt to our kids, a first-rate sister-in-law to me, a loving and secure sister to Linda, Marla and Nancy, and a wonderful loving daughter to Mom & Dad Lewandowski. I only wish I could be there to add comfort to our family during this time. I love and miss you all.

Mr.& Mrs. LEW, my sincere condolences. Our faith is certainly a major component in our lives that allows us to make it thru the good and bad times. We know Cathy is in a better place! Cathy's smile will be missed although all the shared memories we had with her will live on. Whether it was the walnut lake days, or northern California, we had outstanding times. Cathy was the smile that lit up the room. God Bless Cathy. To the entire family, please keep the faith which will carry you forward. I look forward to praying with you on Sat. May the peace of christ be with all of you. My love, Bob. P.S Brother Mike sends his prayers as well from Chicago.
