Elwood was our dear neighbor, on Buckingham Avenue, when my husband and I were newlyweds and beginning our family. He was always up for a chat when you'd catch him outside grilling up a hotdog in the afternoon. He always had a treat to throw over the fence for our dog Roscoe. He enjoyed our young children and was so kind to them. We felt he was always looking out for us...sort of taking us under his wings as the newbies in the neighborhood. He was a special man. We Hadn't seen Elwood in some time, but will miss him very much and are very sad to hear of his passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with all his friends and family now and always. Very Truly,Amy and Jon Everly, and Jack-Maren-Max-Casey
