Elizabeth Ryan Schwartz, Age 94. Born 9-15-1922 in Wilhemshaven, Germany to Louise Dobert Hartlieb and Johann Hartlieb. Beloved wife of the late James Schwartz. Mother of Walter Ryan III, and Nancy Ryan Anger. Stepmother to the late Dr. Jim Schwartz, Becky Schwartz Alverson, Laurie Schwartz Heamon, and Karen Assessor Koos. Sister of the late Ansgar Hartlieb, the late Ursula Ryskamp, the late Kurt Hartlieb, and the late Margaret Martin. She was also the loving Grandmother of 15 grandchildren and Great Grandmother of 24 great grandchildren. She retired after many years in the shoe department at Jacobson's in Grosse Pointe. Afterwards, she continued in her framing and matting business, J & B Studio until the age of 89. Private services will be held for the family.
