Ben,I just read today in the MSU Alumni book of your passing and I thought, it couldn't be. Although we were just classmates at JMC, it seems like yesterday we were sitting around the classroom tables. I remember your curiosity, enthusiasm for learning, and tyour open-mindedness (perhaps something which all JMCers could take a lesson from). But what strikes me most is that, although we have gone our seperate ways after graduation, I had imagined you in elsewhere, making a difference in the world...but then again, perhaps you are making a difference in this world. Perhaps the most important difference of all, hanging out in heaven with some wonderful people and looking over us. I am praying for you and your family.Eternal rest grant unto him and may perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

When I think of Crunchy's, it's hard not to think of you, and that big smile. I am so thankful for all those sunday nights spent with you and our little group of friends, enjoying pizza, good beer and great conversations. This world has lost a great man. I'm definitely very sad, but I'm finding that dwelling on the good memories helps. Like you on that awesome bike, riding down MAC. Like porch sitting with you on a sunny day. Like your big bear hugs. Like you hula-hooping at Founder's Fest. Like that twinkle in your eye when you laughed. I wouldn't trade those golden memories for anything. I'll miss you tons, Ben.

I don't know what to say Ben you were such a great spirit a wonderful guy, sooooo smart and had the world at your fingers I will never forget you man I heard about the passing while I was in the hospital which tore me to pieces, I love you so much man and I hope you felt the same. You are one of a kind and such a wonderful guy. I pray everyday for you and anyone else we have lost you have such a loving caring family, and friends that care about you sooo much. It brings me to tears to have to type this but you will never be forgotten. Once again I love you man and I hope your looking over all of us and guide us. We grew up together from grade one and it breaks me to pieces thinking of this. I love you man and prayers for your wonderful family.

Ben was a classmate of mine from Allen Park High school. We hung out a few times outside of school and when we did we always had a fun time together, He was such a great person, and such a handsome one at that. Though I do not know his parents, I would like to say, thank you for raising such a beautiful, warm-hearted, caring, person that I had the privilege of being friends with, My heart goes out to the parents, relatives and friends, and every single person he came in contact with. Where to start! He was the full package. Great friend, smart, handsome, respectful, fun, the list goes on and on. So many great memories he has left me with, mostly with the trips to Chicago he took with my family and I. My heart is broken for his family and friends.
