I've just read the lovely tribute to your relative, who must have been a special person indeed. I just want to say what pleasure it gave me to read that she and Norris Hitchman had many happy years...Norrie and my father, Jack Kenower, were business partners, and friends, and my father never had a truer friend than Norrie, when he was in poor health and grieving, particularly after my Mother died. So please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of this wonderful woman - and my thanks for writing such a full tribute to her that I found a very fondly remembered link to my past. My husband, Dan Dyer, and I live in Rhode Island, as we have since 1980. I believe we have a photo of Norrie at our wedding reception in 1966. Warmest regards to those of you who have inherited the mantle of extraordinary relationships with your dear ones. What better gift can our parents and other family give us Mimi Dyer
