Bob, thank you for remembering. Blizzard and skiing meant the world to dad. He lived to ski and loved the people who loved it as much as he did.

Thank you for your note. Dad was extremely proud of having the privilege of attending Greenfield Village School. He had many stories and fond memories of the experience, as it shaped many of his values and beliefs that guided his entire life.

Uncle Buddie was an incredibly loving, kind, giving man with a tremendous sense of humor! When I was a child I thought that he was most handsome man in the world(smiles). I appreciate all he did for my four sisters and myself. He helped up through our fathers death..even though he was suffering himself (the loss of a brother). I have always been so proud of him. His love of animals and dedication to helping these beasts of burden has always been a quality I most admire. He will always live in our hearts. Sincerely, His Niece, Bonnie Smith Stern

I remember DOC teaching us First Aid at Lathrup School when I first joined Blizzard. He has been a wonderful supporter and friend to Bizzard Ski School for so many decades. He will be missed.

My sincere sympathy to my co-worker Cheryl and to her entire family on the loss of your father, who was also friend to so many animals. May his memory be for you a blessing. May a tiny snippet of memory sparkle in the cockle of your heart...setting off a glow that will warm the very part of you that you thought had turned coldest. And when you look up there will be twinkles in heavens reflecting the memories in your eyes. Meg eFunds Corporation

My condolences go out to the family. I didn't know him personally, but I know how important Mr. Smith was as a role model to Cheryl and how much she loved and respected him, so he must have been a great man.
