Obituary of Theodore (Ted) Stromberg

Theodore Roland Stromberg, 87, of Plymouth, MI, passed away on August 27, 2016 in Novi, MI. Theodore (Ted) was born in Brooklyn, NY to Iris and Theodore Stromberg on September 1, 1928. He graduated from Shelton College in New Jersey in 1953. He married Catherine McCurdy that year and became a pastor after attending Westminster Seminary in Philadelphia. Theodore pastored Lakes Community Chapel in Medford, New Jersey before moving the family to Michigan in 1966 where he became an Associate Pastor at Highland Park Baptist Church. In recent years, Ted was also a manager for Office Depot in Plymouth, MI.Ted enjoyed getting together with his family and attending weddings, birthdays and graduation celebrations. We will all miss his unconditional love, his willingness to help out whenever needed, and his practice of praying for each of us daily. Theodore is survived by his Children Sandra (Larry) Reed, Susan (Dale) Lieder, Christine (Frank) Immordino and James Stromberg, his Sister Doris Dodd and Brother Robert Stromberg, seven Grandchildren and eight great Grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
