My friendship with jerry began in the 1950's. he married my long and dear friend Audrey. Jery and I shared many receipes because he loved to cook and we liked the same kind of food. I got my best ever Sauerbraten receipe from him. I have fond memories of him cooking. Sautéed shrimp for us, outside on a little grill, on south Padre Island, Texas. We were motor homing together . Jerry always. Had a good story to tell, a good joke to tell, and we had many laughs together. Our best laugh together was when he brought his brand new. Motorcycle out to our house and told Chuck to take a ride on it. What a big mistake because Chuck didn't,t quite know how to stop it and it was a little scary, but very funny. Years later, Jerry would talk about this and start laughing! We will miss our friend. sincerely, Pat Hohnbaum
