Dawn and I became good friends on Facebook and being on opposite sides of the good ol USA didn't stop us from a emergency rescue, all because beautiful Dawn shared a post from a high kill Arizona shelter. Without beautiful Dawn I would have never found Mr. Curtis!!! Todd from Mangy Mutts Rescue came to our aid and picked Mr. Curtis up that day as he was going to be PTS that night. My granddaughter and I will forever have Dawn in our hearts and loved her dearly. I'm missing you like the rest of the world as you are a beautiful woman from the inside out. Mr. Curtis will be a reminder of your beautiful spirit. Thank you for being you Dawn!! I miss our chats and and your inspirational posts you would share. Dawn your an angel that blessed our family with Mr. Curtis and you will be forever in our hearts and mind. Most eloquently written. The author certainly knew this beautiful lady, and precisely, the life she created, in spite of her illnesses. She became a special friend to me the night she spent, through messenger, helping and encouraging me to hold on a little longer nursing a violently ill rescue. Although we were 5-6 hours away from each other, she offered to leave her house and drive the distance to take him home with her. It is because of her that Lucky is alive and crazy as ever. He was running an almost 107 fever. I was going to put him down because he was so sick. Thank you my very special friend. You are sorely missed. Your posts are sorely missed. Talking to you will forever be missed. That said I guess I'm having a difficult time wrapping my head around her passing because throughout my day I see something, or something happens that would make her laugh my thoughts take me to going ahead and posting it to her.
